Open Market

Open Market (or OM for short) is the place where all goods one sells are going and stay 'till they are bought.

When one sells something to the OM, the items are posted in 2-10h from the time they were send there. Almost everything can be sold in the OM (troops, equipment, scrolls) and automatically are getting a sell value in gold, from the scribers of Negotiarus, the OM's headmaster trader, depending on the demand for each item category. If someone needs to buy something he cannot have from his kd's recources, he may search the OM to find the goods he needs; the price of them, though, is not something one can predict at any time, since the needs and offers of the universe's kingdoms are not static.

OM is a great tool, and can be used in many ways to help a kingdom to almost everything, from war and battles, to study and building.

The merchants keep 10% VAT (value added tax). This money is used to maintain the roads to and from the market. 90% of the gold from the proceeds of the sale make it to your kingdom.
